Oaks of Avent Ferry Condominium Association Board of Directors Meeting, Aug. 8, 2002 at 6:00 p.m.
Present: John Hertrick, Barbara Dodson, Bill Loftin, Frank Johnson, Bonnie Latham, Jeb Black - Management. Absent: Brian Browning
Homeowner's Forum: No homeowners present.
Minutes from July meeting approved as corrected:
Treasurer's report for July was filled for audit.
Management Report:
1. Reviewed bid to remove 2 trees at 4291 and 4285 plus remove old wood debris in common area. Bid total $850.00.
2. Proposal to mitigate erosion damage at 4229 discussed. M&M Landscaping quoted $400 to build two berms to divert water away from foundation & walkway. B. Latham motioned to combine items 1 & 2 together and to accept both bids at a total cost of $1250.00; seconded by B. Dodson. Motion passed unanimously.
3. Over-parking issue may be resolved at 4122, as tenants have moved.
4. Re-plumb bid from Express Plumbing was reviewed. The Board generally agreed to hold a special meeting to discuss the re-plumb findings and direction. Discussed obtaining bid from Basic Plumbing; agreed to delay until after special meeting.

Unfinished Business:
B Latham motioned, seconded by F. Johnson to table bid decision for siding & wood replacement for next building until next meeting. Motion passed unanimously.
New Business: -
Motion approved to pay host site renewal fee ($70) for Association website.

1. Removal of Community Garden discussed.
2. John Hertrick requested mention of his eligibility as a board member, which appears to be in good standing.
